Nearly Three Decades of Clinical Experience
Big Walnut Family Physical Therapy provides individualized, one-on-one care to patients in Galena and the surrounding communities. Timothy Blecke, PT, Cert. MDT, brings nearly three decades of clinical experience treating orthopedic and neurological conditions.
Tim is credentialed in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy and previously earned board certification as a Neurologic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, a distinction he held through June 2026.
He has particular experience in complex spine and neck conditions, headaches and migraines, dizziness, and vestibular disorders. When appropriate, Tim coordinates directly with each patient’s physician to support continuity between medical care and physical therapy.

Tim combines advanced clinical training with a thoughtful, problem-solving approach. Each evaluation and treatment plan is tailored to the patient’s condition, goals, and response to care. His calm, encouraging style helps patients feel comfortable, informed, and actively involved throughout rehabilitation.
